Inside the Ag₄O₄ Structure: Bonded Silver vs Suspended Particles
If you took a drop of generic colloidal silver and looked at it under an electron microscope, you would see individual silver particles floating in water — some larger, some smaller, with the smallest ones often less stable than the larger ones. The particles are held in suspension by their electrical charge, and they can come out of suspension over time.
If you took a drop of SilverSol® and looked at it under the same microscope, you would see something different. The silver and oxygen atoms are bonded together into discrete tetrahedral molecules, with each molecule the same shape and size as the next. The bonded molecules do not depend on suspension to stay distributed — they are chemically bound to the surrounding water at the molecular level.

They cite studies on "silver" in general — which is a category-level claim, not a product-specific one.
